On 11 June, Mark Bennister took part in a CPD seminar for teachers of A Level Politics and Advanced Higher Modern Studies.
Dr Bennister gave an academic presentation on accountability and scrutiny in the Commons, including PMQs and Liaison Committee, and answered questions. Baroness Nicky Morgan also spoke as part of the event.
The seminar, ‘How does the UK Parliament hold Government to account?’, was organised jointly by the PSA and the Parliamentary Education Service. This is the first online event they have hosted, and over 270 participants logged in.
